What is ESD

ESD stands for Electrostatic Discharge.

Static electricity is a state in which an electric charge accumulates due to the slowing down of electrons.

When an object charged with such static electricity comes into contact with or is separated from another object, a phenomenon in which the charge flows and discharges occurs.

This phenomenon can have a fatal effect on electronic components, etc.

Electronic components are highly sensitive products and require ESD protection.

ESD prevention technology is required in all processes such as manufacturing, transporting, storing, and assembling electronic components.

For example, it is necessary to use ESD-resistant containers or bags when transporting electronic components, and to wear ESD-resistant pads and ESD-resistant clothing in the workplace.
