39 / 268 page  Pin Descriptions Port signals MC68HC11P2 — Rev 1.0 Technical Data Pin Descriptions PORTH can be read at any time: inputs return the pin level; outputs return the pin driver input level. If PORTH is written, the data is stored in internal latches. The pins are driven only if they are configured as outputs in single chip or bootstrap mode. Port H pins include on-chip pull-up or pull-down devices that can be enabled or disabled via the Port pull-up assignment register (PPAR). Port H [7:4] have pull-up resistors; port H [3:0] have pull-down resistors.
